Your videos and songs stay on your phone

Tem analyses and renders entirely on the device. The clips you pick, the songs you choose and the reels you export are never uploaded to our servers.

What the app does send

• A request for the current list of looks (templates) from tem.app. It carries no personal data.
• Over-the-air update checks through Expo (EAS Update), which receive the app version and platform.
• Crash-free operation does not require an account. No analytics SDK is bundled in this version.

Instagram features

If you later connect an Instagram account for the comment-to-DM feature, Tem accesses only the comments and messages needed to reply on your behalf, stores the minimum needed to avoid duplicate messages, and never sells or shares that data. You can disconnect at any time and ask us to delete it.

Permissions

Photos / media: to pick your videos and to save the finished reel. Nothing else is read.
